Sweet Fellowship
I love the group of people we worship with every Sunday. God has blessed my family with a church family that really understands why we are here, and what God wants us to be about. I had become frustrated with Sunday after Sunday being about what the church should be or look like. Sermon upon sermon about how the church should do this or that. I am at a church home now that focuses on what a christian should be about every day of their lives.
I am beginning to look at the world as a place that God wants to redeem and not as a place that is just waiting to get to heaven or to a better life. Jesus is redeeming the world His new creation is now... not in the distant future. God wants us to play a part in what He is doing now not in the future. I am so thankful to have left a church world where it was all about what you can and can't do in the worship service and more about what you need to be doing in the world to reflect Jesus.
I pray that God will lead you away from the denominational and institutional religious world to the world's that He is moving in... and He is looking for people to join him as He brings new creation to this world, and as He redeems this world to Jesus.
May God show you the path to Him through a church that is about what He is about....transforming the world... not trying to transform itself.
Peace.
