A healing place..

I have always thought that church should be a place of healing. But for most of my life I have found church to be a place of strife and ongoing arguments on what can be done and what can't be done. Jesus was about healing and helping people move forward in their faith. I am so thankful that God has shown me a church that is a safe place and a place to let people heal.

Church should be a place to where people who have been hurt by passed church experiences and for those who are unchurched and hurt by the "institutionalized christian church" can come and find healing. Church needs to be a safe place not a place of bitterness and people fighting for their agendas. Paul speaks to this in Corinthians when the people have chosen "camps". Some said I am of Paul, while others I am of Apollos...church's do not need inter strife.

I am sad about churches like this, and unfortunately that has been my experience most of my life. I now realize that there are churches out there that do not act that way and I am blessed beyond what I can express that God has lead me to just such a church...a church of healing...Thank you Father because, I need healing. A safe church...Thank you Father for I need your safety... A place to belong...Thank you Father for I need to be lead by you.

I pray that God will open your heart so you may see that there are safe churches out there that will let you heal from your wounds...May God lead you to such a place as this.
