TURN!!!!

That scares me. It scares me when I am driving and all of a sudden the passenger (those of you that know me know that it is not my wife Melissa because she drives everywhere we go) yells TURN. I always feel startled and then the panic hits..you know the whole noodley leg feeling. I feel like I have missed something or that I have not been paying attention.

John Ortberg in his book " The life you've always wanted" talks about transformation and how transformation never happens without the "turn". When Moses saw the burning bush he "turned" to look at it. It was a bush he might have passed a hungered times before, but this time it was different and he "turned" to look at it. What are the "turns" in your life? Do you remember them?

God puts things in our lives and in our paths to make us "turn" and look and in most cases to "turn" to Him. That is how God transforms us...we have to make the "turn". I pray that God will continue to be gracious and merciful to us and give us the spiritual vision to see the signs and make the "turn".

Peace.

That must be a wife and husband thing. I do the same thing to my husband and it startles him to the point of noodly leg. I don't even have to be abrupt with it for it to startle him. That was a good post. It was short but to the point. So true. God has a way of getting our attention when it's time to turn. I am so thankful to Him for that. Cause where would we be in life without God showing us that it is time to make a turn. That is a scary thought.
